Current 13 MBP or wait for 13 rMBP

Hi all,

I need to get a more portable laptop for med school since I have a 17inch. The rMBP 13inch coming out fits me well, but all of the negative reviews about image retention and such are making me reconsider. I like the idea of a 13inch or possibly 15, with SSD. The only thing I don't like about the current 13inch MBP is the glossiness.

Any thoughts?

a rMBP will absolutely have a glossy screen, so if you dont want that your best option is a 15" with a hi-res anti glare screen. If having a 2012 is not that important to you then get a 2011 15 with anti glare (basically the difference is usb 3.0 as the processor and integrated graphics wont make a huge difference from a 2011). then throw an ssd and more ram in there at your convenience and your golden

if youre set on 13" I would wait a month at the very least. if theres an update this year on the MBPs it will more than likely be in October
