How old is the current SAS RAID card that Apple is selling as an option on the Mac Pros and what is everyone opinion on if it will be changed/updated when the new Mac Pros are released.

the current RAID card was introduced in Aug 2007, there were some sort of build problem in early 2008 when the 2008 MAC Pros were introduced.
