Hi,

I have a 2,4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo macbook pro, the age of my mac/battery is 18 months. The current amount of cycles is 81.

Now my problem, my battery is dead already the shop doesn't want to replace it, since a couple of months it started to act strange like: charging when already full, battery life of 20% or less, and some times a battery charge of 65336 mAh.
I know it's not normal and I'm just wondering if it could harm my mac in any way? (and of course if there was anyway to fix it I'd love to know about it too)

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if batteries give you screwed up information like that when they die, but if this misinformation is caused by another reason, I think they should give you a new battery.
