I've been out of the loop for a while and now that Leopard's big unveiling is but a few days away, I was wondering what the final concensus was on the rumors that 10.5 would feature a replacement to Aqua.

People were speculating that the new colour schemes in iTunes could be a hint to a future change across all Apple products.

^ if it is then its not a huge colour change is it?

GUI is very important and i am sure the responsible guys at infinite loop would be paying attention this time and finally we would see all this kid-candy/brushed metal madness give way to apple pro products-ish trans-black and metal grey .. OR make me really happy and go for something like pixelmator ahhhh http://www.pixelmator.com/

Pixelmator looks extremely nice. I can see that kind of non-intrusive, sleek black theme being extended out of just Pro apps into the general UI - it would certainly be a refreshing change from the current patchwork of design themes.
