I have an 11pro max with apple folio. I’ve tried other leather cases by other companies including high end, and they just don’t hold up as well, and other options I found only come in black and brown.

I keep a credit card and ID in my folio and use a phoneloop.com and it’s been a great solution for me - keeps the glass protected when throwing in a bag and easy to carry on walks. It’s secure - the cards can’t come out and they are out of sight.

It’s not looking like Apple will have their own solution. There’s the sleeve, but I haven’t found much info on that - like would it hold a couple cards? Plus I have a bad track record with misplacing sleeves. And I’m assuming the phone would have to be naked, so there’s still a drop risk when holding the phone.

What have you found?

What makes you think that? Leather cases are coming Nov 6th. I don't think anywhere has stated that a new folio isn't coming? They haven't really stated what exactly is coming either though

I got Otterbox Strada for my wife. It's surprisingly compact for an Otterbox case. But to my disappointment, the workmanship is subpar, certainly not what I expect for a $70 case. And 2 card slots are hard to use. I will be returning it.

Nomad Rugged Folio looks much more premium.

What my wife wants is Speck Presidio Folio (link to iPhone 11 version), which has a hidden slot for holding cards. But Speck hasn't announced it for iPhone 12 series yet.
