What hell is this on my macbook!?!? Battery expanding like the first gen ipod nano!?

It's not hot, no smoke, or melting but it seems to be growing and making bubbles at other areas of the bottom part.

Please help!

WDF?? Is this shizz?

WDDF??
Is that ?

I really have to say i dont know because for that to melt would be weird,

Its actually a piece of metal covered in rubber.

Must be getting how some how and melting the rubber.

Nothing to worry about. It's the rubber that it's tearing away from the aluminium plate. Apple will replace it. (same happened to me and others, there's already about 4 threads about the same thing)

I went to genius and they replaced the backplate for me with a brand new cover. But why the heck do I feel heavier than the old one!? I didn't notice this until I got home. What!?

I'm going to pick mine tomorrow. You ain't the first to notice that the macbook feels heavier. Let's see maybe they changed something in the bottom plate. Tomorrow when reinstalling my hdd and ram I will check it
