Regarding the ios5, am i missing out something or a "faster" iphone (a5, 1g ram,8meg camera, 3g+) would offer the "same" user experience as the existing iphone 4?
it may have a snappier feel to it, but the over all UI would be the same essentially!?

just wondering...

Nobody knows yet. There are rumors the speech recognition Assistant feature will require the new iPhone. If Apple brings PhotoBooth from the iPad 2, that will require the A5 chip.

Dude, just wait until Apple announces it. No one on Macrumors knows..

But as Apple typically wants to make the new phone more attractive, I think it'll have 1-2 extra features that the 4 doesn't.

i can vouch and say that the iPad 2 is noticeably faster than the original iPad running the iOS 4 on both. it's due to more ram and the dual core processor, which the iPhone 5 will more than likely have. However, it doesn't mean that the iPhone 4 will feel slow in the sam way as an original iPad is still nice.
