Current iPhone owners, buying an iPhone 4S on the day?

First of all, I'd like to take the opportunity on behalf of all members when I say our thoughts are with the family of Steve Jobs during this difficult time.

I've not seen any similar thread though I have noticed various responses about the iPhone 4S and I'd like to see what the level of demand is for this device on release day. More than anything as an indication of how busy it'll be and how early we'll need to turn up if we decide to queue up for the whole experience.

Of course it'd be interesting to know which phones people are upgrading from too, but this isn't so important.

I'm going to pre-order, but I expect healthy lines on launch day just like in the past. iPhone owners comprise a small percentage of overall mobile phone owners and I personally know a lot first time buyers who are jumping on the bandwagon this time.

In will be preordering Friday for delivery next Friday.

I have the 32gb iPhone 4 and will upgrding to the 64gb on the 4S

I'm thrilled to say I won't be buying this poor excuse for an "Upgrade".

Instead I'll enjoy sitting back and watching as others bemoan the madness, chaos & delays, as they jockey for theirs.

Ah yes, for the first time in the history of the iPhone, I'm more excited to sit this one out.
