3G and GPS in the same unit.
Everything else that everyone wants, I believe is software updatable so I would only buy a new iPhone if: 3G and GPS were included in the same unit. I would NOT buy a new one if ONLY 3G or GPS was in there.

+1, has to have both for me, although I may consider it if it was just GPS, but we know the next version is going to have 3G. Also, hopefully they release tethering as well when they implement 3G. A flash for the camera would be nice as well, but not necessary.
Enough space to hold all of my music and a bunch of videos- say at least 30 gigs and maybe a finder.
If somehow it manages to look way cooler, my techno geek vanity might force me to get a new one.

I would buy a new one with GPS, but I also need a louder maximum volume-- I never hear the thing ring in my bag. The international plans should less expensive too-- I also want to be able to use music I own as a ring tone.

you can already get music you own to play as your ringer through garageband.
id like to see 3g,slightly slimmer and better external speakers!
Basically any change of form and/or function would drive me to buy a new iPhone.
