Current Macbook Gen + Free iPod/Printer or Next-Gen in Sept or w/e

I am a student at UMD (maryland), so I was wondering should I get the free iPod deal or just wait for the next one to come out and get that.

P.S. I prolly would end up selling the iPod anyway. (but thats -$250 off the price)
