current options for jailbreaking/unlocking 4.0.1

hello,

I am currenttly running 4.0.1 and jailbroken. I am wondering if I can currently unlock and if I can upgrade firmware at all to 4.1 or 4.2 and jailbreak and/or unlock?

I tried searching for info but everything seems so fragmented right now with people waiting for 4.2.1

You can upgrade to 4.2.1 while retaining 1.59 bb but that process is a bit tricky and if you mess up, you're out of luck. 4.2.1 doesn't really offer anything significant besides find my iphone, so I'd just stick with your 4.0.1 and unlock with ultrasnow.
