As title states I’m having a dilemma deciding. Has anyone else thought about this. Is 7 plus worth the upgrade or better going for the 8 plus?

If you’re not the type that just has to have the latest and greatest... go for the 7 Plus and save yourself $150. There’s not $150 worth of difference between the 2 phones.

The 8 is great ... yes. The back of the phone is a delight now doubt. The A11 is a beast of a chip, but guess what? So is the A10.

I am on the iPhone 8 Plus now only because my fiancée needed a new phone which she took my old 7 Plus and I took the 8 Plus. She wanted the 7 Plus for the 128 GB of storage compared to the 64 GB of storage for the 8.

If you need the latest and greatest then get the 8 Plus. The phone is wonderful and a joy to hold. Many people will say “wait for the x.” Not realizing not everyone wants to lay down a grand on a phone... the 8 Plus and the X has technically the same specs...

I would go with the 8plus. Has a better processor, wireless charging, fast charging, better cameras. What’s 150 dollars? Are you paying it all at once or on a installment plan. With a installment plan it’s rough what maybe 5-10 dollars more a month. Will have a better resale value later if you want to sell it.

Yeah had a read of the article. If I went for the 8, it would last 2 year without feeling too out dated

7+ beats 8+ in speed tests

Really? I haven’t seen that one but I’m not surprised at the moment. Most of the speed tests i had seen had the 8+ barely winning.

If this is the case then imagine what the X will be like. I’d assume the A11 is running better in the 8 and 8 Plus then it will in he X
