Currently on 4.0.1 and want to upgrade to 4.1 and jailbreak

Hi guys. I'm currently on 4.0.1. My SHSH blobs are up on Cydia. Can you please point me in the right direction to get my iPhone to a base build of 4.1 and then jailbreak it? I know I can use Limera1n to do the jailbreak however I need to figure out how to get my phone to 4.1 first.

Thanks. Oh and the reason I want to do this is because this stupid mobile log app broke my face time and its time to get rid of it with a clean install.

Because I've seen all the problems and its still in beta from what I understand. Unless somethings changed.

I just jailbroke my fiance's 4 with limera1n on 4.1 and it worked like a charm.

About to to use tinyumbrella to get mine to 4.1 and do the same.

Probably because its a tethered JB and the beta untethered one is still in very early buggy stages.

First attempt at restoring mine to 4.1 failed. Trying again. TSS is running in TinyUmbrella...

lets see what happens this time.

Did you try to kick device out of recovery with TU after you got the error message?

I'm in the same situation - I'm running 4.0.1 JB and want to update to 4.1 (required for FaceTime to Macs) not 4.2 yet. Is it possible to do an update or is my only option a restore to 4.1? I have iTunes convert my music to 128k and about 15k photos so it takes a while to sync the data after a restore.

Only if you have the SHSH saved for 4.1 you can upgrade.
