I have an iphone but its the very first ones that came out. i dont even use it as a phone and was looking to get the new ipod touch instead. im just wondering about the apps i paid for on my iphone, will i be able to download them onto the ipod without paying for them again? sorry if its such a noob question but i couldnt find the answer anywhere.

you should be able to load them onto your "new" ipod, that is if they are designed to work on the ipod.

they are in itunes and will be proposed for install (or automatically installed) onto the ipod when it is connected

when you connect the new Touch to iTunes for the first time, iTunes should prompt you if you want to use the backup of your iPhone to populate the Touch with content.

as has been said, apps made exclusively for iPhone will not be transferred to the Touch.

Quite a lot of photography apps are not supported by the iPod touch even though it has a proper rear camera. Better check compatibility first.
