Hi,

I brand new having just found the mb last night. I have a g4 800mhz imac with Jaguar.

My cursor often flies all over the place when I am not even moving the mouse. I am not sure if it does it just in certain applications or randomly. Any thoughts?

Check the mouse sensitivity.

Try if it is specific apps or just the whole system.

welcome to the wonderful world of pro mouse. this happens to me all the time. it also turns off a lot. i gotta call apple and have them send em a new one.

Could be static, or maybe a USB conflict. Try the usb mouse in both ports. If no difference try plugging in a different mouse. Not quite right USB stuff ican start all sorts of mild wierdness.

Hmm. Good one. The first thing you may wish to check is to see if there is a hair right in the focal of the lense. That's happened to me a few times.
