Cursor disappearing for minutes on startup.

Hi all,

Since updating to iOS High Sierra, I've noticed that when I wake/start up my MBP the cursor doesn't appear for a good 30 seconds or so.. its annoying as during that time I can't do anything with my MBP.

Anyone else have this issue or know anyway to resolve it?
