Hi all
I did a search and couldn't find anything. Nice new MBP arrived Friday and the initial joy is wearing off I think? Anyways, everything seems to be perfect except that the cursor keeps freezing! .. it just suddenly disappears or I can't move it where I need it to be .. it will freeze for about 3 seconds and then be fine again! .. happening quite frequently but nothing specific about it .. no matter what programs I have open it happens ..
Thanks for any insight!

Me THREE! I posted about this earlier but the post largely went ignored.

I've reset the PRAM but it is still happening...

This Has Solved The Freezing Cursor Problem For Me

I used the Migration Assistant to go from an Early 2008 MBP 17" 2.6 and was having the same problem. I went into the Power Management preferences and chose Graphics: Higher performance and it seems to be working fine. When I go back to Graphics: Better battery life, the problem reoccurs. I just heard from one person on the Apple Support Boards that tried it and it worked for them.

By the way, I have a Late 2008 MBP 2.8 320GB 7200
