So I've narrowed down some apparent cursor jumpiness to happening exactly when I save a file (write to disk). Usually these are 1-40kb text files (code), and the jumpiness lasts probably 3/4 of a second. I've also, come to think of it, seen some mouse jumpiness with larger file writes (1-5GB).

This occurs with both my Magic Mouse and my late 2010 Macbook Pro's trackpad. Happens with and without a 27" Cinema Display connected, with and without the power adapter, etc.

I did not notice this before Lion, but I updated to Lion roughly 5 days after installing a 250GB Intel 510 series SSD in place of my old 500GB 7200RPM HDD. It's conceivable this was a problem before Lion, but definitely not before the SSD.

So, I'm not sure which is to blame here - I'm inclined to blame Lion as I've also had several other noticeable bugs in the OS (it seems to be an unusually buggy release IMO).

Has anybody else experienced this with a 510 series Intel SSD? Lion?
