Got a 2.4 alum macbook. Hooked it up to my ol' trusty gateway 21" widescreen lcd. Wired mighty mouse started jumping erratically. Adjusted settings, etc., no effect. Plugged in a wireless logitech mouse, same thing.
Took MB into a genius at OKC apple store. Genius blamed monitor. I sulked away. I then took it to my office and plugged it into my samsung lcd. Same jumping problem with both mice.
Taking back to applestore this afternoon. Will also inform genius that my displays worked just fine with my g5 powermac, core duo mini, and core 2 duo white iMac.
Playing FPS on this thing makes it MORE exciting since when the mouse acts up, my character 'faints', the point of view whirls around in a 360, and you end up looking at the ceiling for a second while the bad guys are putting rounds into me the entire time.
Has this happened to anyone else?
