If Ipad had the option for a Cursor to connect bluetooth mouse I would be in Heaven!

Apple would never allow it. But there is one that you could use if you jailbreak. It isn't the best and the interface is very clunky to use.

Once you've got a keyboard and a mouse set up you arn't really using the iPad's strengths anymore, heh.

Wouldn't hurt anything though.

Its more about clicking in different fields. Ie ________name then another for last name _________. Each one of those have to use finger to do. If you miss can cause issues on some sites. I would like to have the option to turn on when using the screen for long emails, or other programs requiring to touch screen a lot.

Agree it would eat away at their Computer sales, especially the $999 MacBook Air. Lastly, you might end up getting a first gen apple TV that people could hack and run Mac OSX which challenged Mac Mini Sales.

Click, drag and release.

If that is a swipe, how do you touch and drag?

Adding a cursor option to the iPad would make it no more similar to a Macbook Air than it is today. Also, any kind of setup that requires jailbreaking or hacking of any sort does not post a legitimate threat to sales of any other off-the-shelf product.

A "tab" function would be easier to implement and far less clunky.
