I decided to try using the Magic Trackpad 2 with my iPad and check out to see if I could use that instead of apples new keyboard and one of the things I noticed was it takes several swipes to move my cursor across the iPad screen. I looked online and they said to change the scroll speed option in the settings which I cranked all the way up to the rabbit icon and it’s not having the same speed up effect like you do with cursor speed in Catalina. In Catalina when you change the cursor speed it moves faster and further across the screen in a shorter distance on the trackpad. Is there anything else I could try that would speed up the cursor in iOS so I don’t have to swipe 2 or 3 times to get the cursor across the screen.

Scroll speed doesn’t adjust the cursor. It does what it’s name implies—it adjusts how fast windows and documents scroll when you swipe. To adjust the cursor tracking speed, you must adjust General > Tracking > Tracking speed.
