I'm sure it's wishful thinking but anyone think the next versions of the iPad will have the same tapered glass edge as the new iPhones, in lieu of the chamfer edge?

I personally hate the chamfer edge; it's too soft and easy to scratch. Within days your device could look beat up.

It does look nice when it's though with all that polish and shine. But it's just too easily damaged.

Thoughts?

that would be for 2015 release.. next year will be a major overhaul for the ipad line, much needed one if you ask me. this year will be minor facelift adding touchID. so if anything, wait for ala iphone 6 curved design next year.
