Custom alert tones on iOS 5

Based on what I've seen you can only make custom alert tones for categories of contact method(email, phone, twitter), but not for a specific contact method. Meaning I can't configure a custom alert tone for a specific email address or twitter account. Is there any way other then jailbreaking to do this?

No, you can only set custom text alerts per person on the stock OS.
