custom amp setting in garage band don't sound like i want them to

im trying to set up my amp settings for my guitar on garage band but it doesnt seem to sound the same on the computer as it dose on my amp ive tryed to copy the settings but the sounding really off the mark im needing a heavy metal sound dose anyone have any advise on what kind of setting i could use thanks

To be honest you probably arent going to get a metal sound that you will be fully happy with.

Only software solution that I have found that I am happy with is Amplitube.
You will pay alot for it though, but definetly worth it.

Its a plugin that will work with garageband logic express/ pro etc.

Amazing amount of different sounds.
