Custom Build Question

Hi all

Got a question about a custom build iMac I've just ordered - Got one coming with the i7 processor, updated graphics card and 1GB fusion drive.

This was ordered on the 8th but had a tonne of problems with the order / barclays financing and it finally went to processing yesterday with a dispatch time of 1 - 2 weeks.

Apple have told me to ignore this as a good gesture after all my problems the machine will be built as a "priority" - my question is has anyone had any experience of this and how much quicker does this actually make it? I guess with christmas / new years coming up that won't help a great deal!

It will probably be ready to ship in a few days. Also remember with the holidays in Asia being different, the holidays won't affect the build time that much.

That sounds good - I guess that would mean a good chance of getting it before the new year then if thats the case (am in the UK)?
