Custom built returns

Ive just bought a base 13" machine but would like to also try out a 11" with the upgraded 1.8ghz cpu.


Will apple allow me to return a custom machine within the 14days through their online returns?

I know a few years back i bought a custom machine and couldn't return it....As their returns policy now changed?

The policy is the same for BTOs so you can return it

Is it possible, probably. It just doesn't seam like the right thing to do though.

I'm not sure how much this will help. Sunday (July 31st) I brought my maxed out, built-to-order, MBA 13" into a retail outlet for an exchange because there were a couple of things wrong with my specific machine.

Tuesday (August 9th), I got a call from the retail store notifying me that my replacement had arrived and was ready for me to pick up.
