Custom Carrier Name

I am on AT&T with a jailbroken iPhone 4S and had a custom carrier name using the CleanStatus tweak. Today, I tried to change it. However, it won't change; it has the reception bars right next to the wifi.

I have tried using MakeitMine and other carrier name tweaks but I have had no luck.

I tried searching but could not find anything that says how to fix it.

Any tips and help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

How about using sprintomize 2 to do this ?

I've never used it, but I'll give it a try. I was hoping to find the file path so I could edit on my phone using iFile, though.

Well i use springtomize 2 to do lots of the adjustments on my iPhone and use it to change the carriers name to my own.

Seems stable and very easy to use.

Other members on macrumors are positive towards it too hence why i gave it a try.

u can change it also through sbsetings or try zepelin app from cydia to add custom logoz

+1 for SBSettings. Most people already have this installed already anyway.

+1 for Springtomize. I have used Make It Mine in the past. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it would decide not to.

Along these same lines, how do i change my carrier icon to another icon, do i have to SSH?

Edit: didnt read the zeppelin bit, sorted now, if i wanted to upload other icons of my chosing would i have to SSH them though?

Easiest way is to use Zeppelin. There are a bunch of logo packs and most if not all are free. You can use SSH or iFile to add more icons and apply them through Zeppelin which is great since it doesn't require a respring.
