Just out of curiosity, if you had the money to get the parts, would you pay to get custom color parts for your Mac? Or do you think the original schemes will always be the best?

Check out the link below to see the color changing possibilities.

Personally I think any color looks better on the Mighty Mouse than white.

Those are incredibly ugly. Why not offer all-black models of the notebooks? Then I might take notice.

Check out the site again, you can get an all black MBA, personally I don't like the MBA but it looks sick in black haha.

That's crazy. You would get *some* of that back at resale time. The old iBooks commanded a premium if they were professionally painted.

I could never afford to deck out my entire MBP in color but I think it'd be sick to add some random accents such as red hinges or something similar just to give it that personal touch. Also if i ever had a Mac Mini i'd totally get it in black or some other color, I'm not a huge fan of white for the Mini or the mighty mouse.

When I order my MBP this year, I'm thinking of trying Colorware. I mean, yeah, it's a bit more..(ok so not a bit). When I think of buying a $2500 laptop though, a couple hundred more isn't much, considering the lifetime of the notebook.

Right now though, I can only dream with my White MB... :D
