I have used Apple's custom domain service as part of my iCloud subscription for a while now, and for the most part it has worked great. However, I am having some issues as a Windows 10 user and hoping there are others here who may have a solution. Using the iCloud app for Windows 10 allows you to have your iCloud email (and custom domain) in Outlook. This has worked okay, but I generally prefer the Mail app for all my emails and the sent folder doesn't include every sent emails (only ones sent from Outlook for some bizarre reason).
If I enter my custom domain name (hayden@custom.com) in this signup screen, I get the following error code:
The only way to resolve this is to enter my iCloud email address, and then I can receive emails from both my @icloud email and custom domain. However, if I reply to an email from my custom account, it will always come from my iCloud address and there is no option to reply from my custom one. So, is there anyway to get full functionality of my custom email in the Mail app and if not, can the sent folder issue be fixed in Outlook? My only other option is to use the iCloud mail app via Firefox, but I'd rather use an actual app on my PC.
