Hi.

Does anyone know if Apple has fixed the problem with their iPods not being able to import custom EQ-settings from iTunes to iPod? (That is making a custom EQ-setting in iTunes and saving it the ID3-tag of the AAC-file, and then import the file to your iPod.) This is essentially the only thing holding me back from ordering the new 60 gb model...
Thanks!

PS: Does anyone know if they've improve the amp/sound quality also?

bump...

I would really appreciate some feedback on this...anyone?
Thanks.

It's a hardware limitation, the PortalPlayer EQ doesn't support enough bands to make a useful translation.

Hm, okey..I didn't know that. But I read about someone making a hack for an older ipod model making it possible to import custom EQ settings. I don't know how well that works, so it should be possible in some form or another...
Thanks anyway!
