before lion, it was simple to define a custom shortcut for switching between the windows of the active application... in lion, i cannot figure it out...

like, I want to switch between apps using the standard key cmd-tab, between windows of the same app using option-tab.... kinda common sense, no?

lion....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

In System Preferences, under Keyboard, go to Keyboard Shortcuts. Select Keyboard & Text Input from the list on the left. Find Move focus to the next window in the right list. Double click on the little symbols next to it and press your desired new shortcut. Ta-da!

thank you.
too bad opera doesn't seem to know abt this...it's ctrl-tab there no matter what I define in the keybrd prefs...opt-tab doesn't work in it

btw, your avatar pic is a mural close to my house :)
