Hi all!
tl;dr Download it from https://github.com/llamallama/ibookg4linux
I'm running Void Linux PPC with the i3 window manager. I'm using i3blocks for my status bar and found that all the acpi based battery monitor examples don't work. This is because the acpi command doesn't seem to know about the non-standard path in the sys file system that contains the PMU battery's information (/sys/class/power_supply/PMU_battery_0).
I decided to create my own and hope it'll benefit others that encounter the same problem.
Here's what it looks like.

Here's where to find it. https://github.com/llamallama/ibookg4linux
Please note that it requires Font Awesome to be installed for the icons to display.
