Custom Live Photo Watch Face

I’ve created a live photo(for a watch face) yet when I load it onto the watch, it does the animation once, then stays on the key photo no matter how many times I lift my wrist up(bring the display on)

Are there limitations? Or is it just an issue with my watch?
