General Custom Notification Sounds or location

I have enabled push notifications sounds for the app Find My Friends. I get a sound notification when my daughter has arrived at school and arrived home. I wanted to change the sound. I downloaded PushTone from Cydia but each time it attempts to notify me my phone just resprings into safe mode.

I went into system/library/audio/UISounds and copied and pasted the sound I wanted and renamed it to sms-received1.caf as this seemed to be the sound that is default. However I am still getting the default sound. (yes I renamed the original to sms-received1original.caf and saved my custom caf tone to sms-received1.caf)

Any help, suggestions or answers will be greatly appreciated.

anyone have any clues?

I did further research and found that BiteSMS was not compatible with PushTones and that was why my phone was respringing. . . However I would still think I could go in and physically change the name of the .caf file.

Anyone have any suggestions?
