I want to reinstall OS X without all the print drivers and such, but when I boot up pressing C, there is never any option to select what time of install i want to do. It automatically includes everything. Any advice would be great

There's an Options button during the install process, I believe after choosing the volume you want to install to..

sorry, wrong info
there is a button, its on a weird position, so you probably over look it.

thank you
now the reason I am doing this is because i accidently portioned my HD when I thought I wanted to install bootcamp. My win. disc didnt work and I was left with a lot less hd then i wanted. Im in disc utilities now and i see the area. I have erased it but is there anyway I can get it to merge back to the mac hd so i only have one?

Select the disk (the heading with the size and info, NOT the disk name)
Click the Partitions tab
Change the Volume Scheme select-bar to 1 Partition

Ok ive done that but when I click on another tab and come back to it, its reverted back to 2 partitions
