N NeoMayhem macrumors 6502a Aug 22, 2003 916 1 Apr 14, 2008 #3 No need to jailbreak, but you have to make the ringtones in iTunes/GarageBand first, and then sync them to the phone like you would with songs. You cant just pick any song on the phone itself, although that would be nice.
