Custom SMS Bubbles

I wasn't sure if anyone else was having this problem but I was having trouble with my custom colored SMS bubbles after the update to 4.1 and LimeRa1n JB. I found out what the problem was:

The sms bubble pngs used to be named Balloon_1@2x.png and Balloon_2@2x.png. It seems that the update to 4.1 changed them to Balloon_1@2x~iphone.png and Balloon_2@2x~iphone.png. All you have to do to fix it is rename the png files in Winterboard and you're good to go.

Just thought I would share this information for anyone who was having the same problems I was.

Forgive me for being so retarded....can I use iFile to edit the file name? And if so which filename am I editing? What is the folder location? Thanks

Could you reply for me please? Ha, where do you find the sms files to rename in iFile? I haven't found what I'm looking for yet! Thanks
 
iFile is a bit overwhleming for me. :(

How exactly did you find the file and edit it?

Are the files in a WinterBoard theme? If yes:

theTheme.theme/Folders/ChatKit.framework/Balloon_1@2x~iphone.png

theTheme.theme/Folders/ChatKit.framework/Balloon_2@2x~iphone.png

If you want the actual file location, it is here:

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ChatKit.framework/

Rainbow SMS Bubbles

Hey guys. Very helpful. But how do you adjust the files for Rainbow SMS Bubbles?
 
Use the search at the top. Recently there was a SMS Bubbles thread with some retina quality bubbles linked or posted in the thread. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
