I'm able to create custom vibration patterns on my new 6S Plus and play them back just fine. But they aren't used when I assign them to a contact. It's always the standard vibration when I receive a message.

Anyone else have this issue or find a solution?

On a side note: When you record a rapid vibration pattern you don't actually feel the vibration till you play it back. e.g. you tap, tap, tap very fast and feel no feedback. But when you play it back you get 3 quick buzzes. Also what you record is a very similar to the old vibrate motor, you don't seem to be able to emulate the tapping-type sensations.
