custom wallpaper help...

have always had a 'custom' folder of images in Wallpaper/iPhone; maybe 24 images. and, have always been able to access it from the Wallpaper settings.

but today, i replaced 2 images, and...everytime i try to open Wallpaper, i am returned to the home screen. (i CAN access my photo albums).

any ideas, anyone? a cache to clear, a preference file of some sort to delete?

scaled down my folder to about 8 images (from 24!) and seem to be ok for now; will try to add back pics one at a time (when i get around to it!).

anyone have any idea why this would happen??
