I got bored and Photoshopped an iPhone 4 template to be used with an iPhone bumper:)
I don't know if this has already been done but I thought I'd post it anyway.

1. Print out the template.
2. Carefully cut out the black circles for the camera and flash.
3. Cut out the Apple logo (or just leave it black or use apple stickers, its up to you).
4. Use a laminator to laminate it to give it that shiny look.
5. Then cut around the iPhone 4 template and the camera holes, but leave the apple logo laminated.
6. Take your bumper off, place the template on the back of the phone and push the bumper over it from the back.
and Voila! :D

The template below is for those of you who are too impatient to wait for the white iPhone 4 haha

If anyone wants the Photoshop file so it's the right size to just print, or to tweak/customise it with patterns etc. just give me your email:)

Here's an example below (bare in mind the one below hasn't been laminated, I just roughly cut it out and popped it in), if I get round to doing it properly I will post a proper pic.

EDIT: here is an example of how you can customise it. Yes, I got bored again :rolleyes: and made a zebra print one.

Great improvisation dude.

Printing this tomorrow and I receive some red apple stickers so I will stick it on and laminate :D
 
I know I'll feel dumb after my question is answered, but can anyone tell me how to size it properly? I know I'm doing something wrong but this thing is huge when I try to print it

Do you have Photoshop? If you do then I'll send you the Photoshop file via email if you want? And then all you have to do is press print and it should print the right size for you, otherwise I'm not sure sorry :/

Yea I have Photoshop but I'm not very good with it. I was actually trying to change the color of the one you posted but couldn't figure it out. I'll send you my email though and if you wouldn't mind sending me what you've got I'd really appreciate it.

Can I get a copy of the psd please?

How did you cut out the camera and flash holes so well? Any tips?
 
Awesome idea man. It's so simple Yet so ingenious. I wonder if it can be done for the front also.

as for the cutting, I do a lot of intricate cutting as I'm a Graphic Designer/Illustrator, so thats probably why, I'm not sure on advice apart from use a very thin ended sharp craft knife.

yes it could be done for the front but I don't think it would look so great, I'll have a go if you want?

Yeah I did something similar. Wanted an IP4 but didn't want the issues so took a pic of the new phone in an Apple store and taped it to the front of my 3G.

Imagine the admiring glances I get as I take calls in the street, no Grip Of Death problems for me though sometimes the tape comes off and the IP4 pic sticks to my face so still have a proximity prob.
 
might be too much to ask but can someone resize and post a jpg resized version of the image?
