Customizable On-Screen buttons/Customizing Sidetrack

Does anyone kno of a way, or a program, that allows u to create customizable onscreen buttons that are always ontop?

Also, if anyone uses sidetrack, is there a way to recode it to map out the corner tap regions on to different regions on the track pad? i wanted to make it so that the bottom strip was for distinct buttons

What are these buttons supposed to do? Cause I would say the Dock and Automator are a great way to do exactly what you want. I could help with Automator if you aren't familiar.
