iOS customize UIButton to look like UITabBarItem

I have three uibuttons that run transactions that I would like to look exactly like the UITabBarItem appearance. Not exactly sure the quickest way to go about this.

And if quickest way is to just set the image of the uitabbaritem as the background of the uibutton, then where can i find the images used for the uitabbaritem?

Why don't you just make an UITabbar? ;o
Any how.. Yeah, just set the background (not so hard to fake in PS), and when selected you set the same image but with glow on it (set his 'selected state')
