Customized Widget Arrangement

I would like to sort my widgets by category, and alphabetized therin. I've looked at two widget management apps but neither will do this. Any rumors of something like this on the horizon? A feature like an empty widget icon in the crawl at screen's bottom that you could write a category name in-followed by the items you place there- would be nice.
