Customizing cDock

I have received great tech support from Wolf at cDock, but still lack the expertise to tweak cDock as desired.

I have mucked about with TextEdit, but always my efforts met with disaster and I had to delete and then reinstall cDock

What I want is:

Transparent Dock with Red (active app) indicators.

Clearly, I am doing something(s) wrong.

Will some kind soul who knows of such, please post a simple, step-by-step guide?

Just a wee bit surprised (and disappointed) that there have been no replies to this post.

Apparently, there are not as many cDock experts about as I (wrongfully) presumed.

Use an early version of cDock 2. https://github.com/w0lfschild/cDock2/releases

Wolf,

You have most kind and patient. Truly, your time & expertise are most appreciated. But, for now, I have opted to avoid mucking with Apple’s (new OS 10.11) security system, and so won’t be traveling the Rootless route.

I felt certain you deserved a straight/candid reply from me, rather than being ignored.

Indeed cDock will be missed.
