Customizing Finder

Well 2 things came into my mind that would make finder better:
1) A path bar that would be clickable; clicking a folder to get you to it instead of right-clicking it and chosing open
2) Tabs...

Any program that could do those tweaks? I know about pathfinder, it looks great, i just dont want to replace the finder, and im not interested in such a bloated file browser. So any suggestions?

You could also double-click on the folder and it will open up too. I don't know if this is what you're talking about here though.
