Customizing MediaPlayer

Anyone know how I can change the status bar in the MediaPlayer only? I know it's possible to change this one by changing the status bar on the springboard, but I want to have a different one on the springboard.

I tried making a StatusBar.png in ****.theme/Bundles/com.apple.MediaPlayer but that didn't work. Any help would be much appreciated. :)
