Cut over to VZW Share everything plan-question please

Since I got cut over to the Share everything plan when I ordered my iphone5 I want to know if I should add my ipad to the plan and would I save the $20 I'm paying for the 1gb of data thru my ipad?

Should have kept your unlimited data plan

Tethering on your phone will be free with the plan, and since the iPad would use the same pool of data it would be worthless and a waste to add it.
