Cutting Cable: Apple TV and Tivo Premiere?

I'd like to get rid of AT&T's U-Verse and add an Apple TV along with a Tivo Premiere.

I'd like to use the Tivo Premiere for OTA along with DVR. I'd spend the $300 or so for the box along with the $13.00 monthly fee.

I'd also get a fast-speed internet connection for around $55 a month.

Overall, I'd be saving a ton of money. I feel like I could still get cable-specific shows through iTunes.

Any suggestions or thoughts? Anyone have experience with Tivo Premiere?

I wanted to do the same but comcast is the only high speed Internet provider in my apartment building. If I want to get Internet without cable they wanted to charge me more for the Internet. To get basic cable with Internet worked out to be almost the exact same price.
