Cutting normal sim to nano sim is it possible?

Is this possible. I am about to try and cut my normal sim card (not a micro sim) into a nano sim and i just want to check with you guys....

yeah just be careful and it works fine. Done it with my sim.

...because 100% of MR members are in the US and have one of those two carriers...
