Okay, my grandpa gave me a mix cd of some music. For some reason when he burned it, it all burned onto one 50 minute track. Is there some app or tool or something that I can use to go in and cut up the track and make all the songs different tracks?

Separating tracks...

An app I've found handy for this kind of thing is AudioSlicer. Check www.versiontracker.com for it. It finds the 'silences' in a track, then lets you select which ones you want to split. I think it only works with MP3 files tho (could be wrong), in which case you'd have to convert it first, then convert back if you want to make an audio CD. I think that might be a 'lossy' process. You could also try an audio editor like Audacity. I think that'll work with the 'raw' audio, but you'll have to find the splits for yourself.
